The owner of The Village Childcare and Learning Center is a former teacher; certified for pre-school, kindergarten, and grades one through eight. She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in education. She has worked as a teacher, substitute teacher and a tutor. She is a reading specialist and focuses on reading readiness in the preschool programs. She is also hands-on in the day-to-day operation of the center and believes that the owner should be on site as much as possible which provides the parents with the opportunity to interact with her, the staff, other parents and children.

The Village Childcare and Learning Center believes that the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow and is dedicated to providing your child with the skills needed for a lifetime of learning. We also know how important it is not to rush them, this facility understands that it is our job and responsibility to help each child reach their own potential. We hope to provide the social skills to help children form good, happy and healthy friendships now and in their futures. We are honored to provide a happy environment and quality care.

The Village Childcare and Learning Center offers a structured learning program for every stage of growth and development. Babies to Pre-Kindergarten have planned lessons which are taught by experience staff, some of which have been with us for nearly 20 years: our staff is also required to participate in mandatory workshops that provide on -the-job training to update themselves on information and skills. Our 4-year-old teachers are also CDA certified.
